Noël 2013

Christmas is just as enjoyable whether you are celebrating it for religious reasons or as a holiday season. I hope you all have had an awesome one. We had a cracking Christmas! Christmas eve was one lovely evening, fairy (and butterfly) light were on and Santa arrived early! Presents were piled up next to our tree (not Christmas though). We were so excited they needed to be opened but we held on!
After a huge Christmas morning breakfast, we lazed around and were enjoying each other's company. We opened our presents! So many surprises! We re-used most of our wrapping materials and kept some to be re-used next time as we realised they often go to waste. We rather not!
We love to try new dishes. This year we started with Salmon Rillette with Caviar, to follow with Beer Butt Chicken (yes, you're reading it right) and to finish with a classic Christmas Pudding to share. We had so much fun cooking the chicken despite there wasn't much beer fragrance in the chicken.
